The greater Columbia area covers many communities, neighborhoods, cities, and zip codes. This blog is the third in our zip code series that focuses on a brief tour of select neighborhoods in the 29072 area. The 29072 zip code is located in Lexington and contains many different neighborhoods of varying price points. The homes in this zip code are zoned for Lexington School District One and are a part of Lexington County. There are many different neighborhoods in this zip code, today we are touring ten of them. Barr Lake

Barr Lake is a developing neighborhood by Ryan Homes. Zoned for Lexington School District One, students of Barr Lake attend Pleasant Hill Elementary, Pleasant Hill Middle, and Lexington High School. Barr lake has an annual HOA fee of $450 which covers common area maintenance. Barr Lake has future plans of resort-style amenities including a pool, clubhouse, community dock, walkways surrounding the lake, and a small beach.  Barr Lake is convenient to I-20 as well as Highway 378 and Lake Murray.

Cambridge Place

Located off of Corley Mill, Saluda River Club is convenient to I-20 and Highway 378 for quick access to shopping.
